      Yep – we all want to know. Other than big bang etc. it’s difficult to know (and it’s not my field of research). Try the Royal Astronomical Society they’ve a good web page – http://www.ras.org.uk/. Good luck and let us know when you find the answer. If you do you’re in for a Nobel Prize!
