• Question: How did the platypus evolve?

      Probably started off like a water living mammal. Over time though the platypuses with flat beaks could feed more by spooning food up and so they did better than the early platypuses that didn’t. Eventually the platypuses with big beaks lived longer and had more children and those that didn’t…didn’t. So we’re left with big beaked platypusses!
