      Deoxyribonucleic acid. (or dee ennn ayyy!!!!!!).

      Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis is the longest word in the main dictionaries. It’s a lung disease you can get from breathing silica particles from a volcano. So not something I worry about too much.

      Words like these are one of the reasons I always liked physics better than chemistry and biology. Most physics words are pretty small, like mass, energy, force etc.

      I’m not kidding about this – I bet most chemists have better memories than physicists.
