• Question: what would happen if fair isle ran out of resources to make electricity

      I suppose they would have to get generators in to generate electricity. But they have most of their energy in wind power – and there’s plenty of that around, so I supose they don’t have to worry.

      I’m not sure what you mean because Fair Isle produces most of its electricity from the wind. In fact it had the first commercial wind power in Europe.

      According to what I’ve read they produce 85% of the electricity they need in winter and 50% in summer from the wind.

      And the wind isn’t going to run out any time soon.

      (If I’m not understanding the question pls have another go.)
