• Question: did you have to work REALLY hard to become a scientists?

      pretty hard but no more than being a lawyer or medical doctor or similar, now that i have a toddler, I work roughly 9-5 plus an hour in the evening. but I used to work many more hours, when I was training.

      Yes you do have to work hard to become a scientist and you have to continue to work very hard to stay a scientists, but for me it’s worth the hard work

      Yes, but you have to work really hard to be good at anyhting I guess. Science is no harder than any other subject, it just depends how much you enjoy it. You will know if you like science, if it comes naturally… go with it!

      Yeah from school onward. But then if something is worth doing, it’s worth doing well!
