• Question: Do you get angry when something goes wrong at work or do you just try again?

      Honest answer is it depends how long they go wrong for. Things going wrong are all part of science and you make progress by fixing them or trying something else.

      But when you get weeks and weeks of things going wrong, which can sometimes happen, you don’t get angry but you can get very frustrated.

      Often though what comes after a hard time like that is a wee breakthrough. So the thought of that keeps you going.
