Question: Do you think that newer and more sophisticated technology will end up dumbing down our brains?

I think technology can change how we think but that doesn’t mean we are stupid. the ancient greeks used to complain that this new-fangled habit of writing meant that people no longer learnt to recite long poems by heart and were becoming stupid. now we can ‘off-load’ lots of knowledge to google, but we don’t know if that frees up your brain to do more useful things (like science) or less useful things (like watching youtube)
