      Good question. It’s something physicists especially are really keen on trying to dream up. They’re no closer now than when they started.

      In fact about 100 years ago they thought they were almost there, then along came quantum mechanics and relativity and blew everything out of the water.

      Some people think string theory will give us a theory of everything one day.

      Others think string theory is pants.
