      Yes. I need lots and lots of data in order to prove what I am saying is correct. In my job it is really important that data is valid and one way of doing this is to repeat experiments many times, this produces lots of experimental results. Because decisions are made that could save lives it is really important the results are right.

      My data doesn’t just need to be valid but it also has to be VERY accurate. I work with tiny tiny amounts of explosive, called trace explosive. So small you cannot see… I work with amounds at femtogram levels, this is the unit of mass equal to 0.000 000 000 000 001 grams.
