      Yes, I invented something the police use. Basically like a chemistry kit that they can use out in the field, but I can’t tell you any more because it’s secret, sorry!

      Not really. I once helped develop a questionnaire which we can use to tell if children are learning language normally or if they are having problems. I’m not sure if that counts as an invention, but it is a new tool which is useful in developmental psychology.

      Not recently. At school I invented a caravan nose-weight gauge! It measures the weight of the tow bar on the front of the caravan so that you can make sure it’s not too heavy for the car! Not very exciting.
