I spend some time working in a clinic for children with CF (an afternoon a week) and some time when they get admitted to hospital for antibiotics. As my focus at the moment is research I don’t see them so much in a clinical capacity – mainly to ask them if they want to take part in studies. Working WITH patients with CF is an interesting slant that I would like to get more into – they’re the experts in what it is like to have CF and I’d like to know more about this so that as doctors we can help more effectively.
