• Question: If the atmosphere was taken away, you would see just the sun and the black sky. How much darker (brighter?) would Earth be and what would everything look like?

If the atmosphere was taken away everything on earth would burn to a frazzle – so I guess it would look like black rock. During the day it would be brighter, but because light could not bounce off the atmosphere, the night would be darker.
