• Question: what do you mean by `use brain scanners to help people understand each other

      Well I put people in brain scanners so that I can see how their brains work. And then I can use my scientific theories of how the brain works, and in particular how it works in social interactions, to help people who find social interaction difficult. For example, people with autism find social interaction difficult, and if we knew why, we might be able to help more.
