I think science helping people to have children is OK. Now the question I suppose is if we have a limited amount of money to treat everyone in the country, what is most important? Who should be treated?
It’s difficult to have an opinion on this – personally I’ve treated babies who have been born through IVF and a lot of the time their parents want them very badly and look after them very well. That’s not to say that most children born through natural conception aren’t treated just as well though – oh you know what I mean!

I think that if a couple cannot have a baby naturally that a “test tube baby” is a fantastic opportunity. A baby created in this way is just like any other baby, it is still from a mum and dad, it just grows somewhere different.

That they give the opportunity to have children to couples who can’t have children naturally, which I think is generally a good thing.
