• Question: what happens when you run out of ideas and things to invent?

      there is so much that we don’t know about how the brain works that I’ve never run out of ideas. I always keep a notebook to write down good ideas, and then the difficult part is choosing between them.

      You never do, because every answer raises more questions.

      That might seem annoying, but unanswered questions are what scientists love. They want to be the one who answers them.

      That is the great thing about science and engineering… the possibilities are endless. Sometimes one thing needs to be invented before something else can be. For example, a microwave couldn’t be invented until we had electricity… otherwise nothing would be able to power it.

      You sink! But for me at the moment I’ve got far more to do than I have time. Each new answer prompts a new question – you will never know everything you want to. Scientist are inquisitive people.
