      Dogs because they are loyal and cats because they are independent.

      Chickens! When I was growing up my parents kept chickens and I used to handle the baby chicks when they hatched. Since then I have an incubator and I hatch egss myself. Chickens make good pets becuase you can train them and pick them up and they eat all your scrap food and they lay eggs so they are useful too! I also have some battery caged hens that I rescued, they now have a nice free range life in the country.

      I don’t have any pets, but I like dogs – they interact in an intelligent meaningful way.

      Dogs are pretty likeable in a dopey kind of way. I like most animals, especially in their own environment. Zoos make me uncomfortable cos lots of animals are short of space and stimulation.

      Whales and dolphins are amazing and one of my ambitions is to get into the ocean along with them. There’s a place called Deep Sea World in Scotland where you can go swimming with sharks, which I also fancy.

      Apart from that I like cows, sheep, pigs, giraffes, elephants, rhinoceroses, squirrels, hedgehogs, rabbits, birds, dinosaurs …

      Yeah, pretty much all animals.
