Most likely the sun at the end of its life, when it’s used up most of its fuel and turns into a red giant.
There are black holes out there, especially a huge one at the centre of our galaxy.
But although they’re black we can tell where they are, because of the radiation from gas and dust – sometimes whole stars – falling into them. So we know there are no black holes anywhere near earth that we need to worry about.
So I’m betting it’s the sun that will get us – but not for another 5 billion years or so.
