Whilst we’re on the subject of light bulbs, how many would it take to get the brightness that the sun gives out?

Question: Whilst we're on the subject of light bulbs, how many would it take to get the brightness that the sun gives out? 10,000 watt perhaps? Rooms would look great this bright :)

  Many many more than that I’m affriad. Some say that you would need one thousand million million normal light bulbs to even get close to the brightness of the sun. There are not even enough light bulbs in the entire world to do this! The room wouldn’t look great for long because it wouldn’t exist, it would be incinerated.
