• Question: why do we have different languages? we all live on the same planet :S

      language evolve and change like species. some words become fashionable, others fall out of use. so different groups of people in different parts of the world can end up speaking different languages.

      We all live on the same planet but for hundreds of years we didn’t communicate across long distances so language developed locally. THat’s why countries that are close to each other have more similar languanges to ones farther away.
